Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst to join our Hub24 Data Platform team. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL skills and a solid background in finance, wealth, investment, or accounting domains. This role requires a proactive, solution-driven individual who thrives in an innovative environment and is eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with software and data engineers to develop and enhance data products, APIs, and data transformation projects.
• Conduct detailed data analysis to support business decision-making and strategy.
• Utilize Agile methodologies, including Scrum, to manage and deliver projects efficiently.
• Work with tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and Jira for project tracking and management.
• Provide accurate project estimations and manage project timelines effectively.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose innovative solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and quality across all data platforms and products.
• Leverage Databricks for advanced data processing and analytics.
• Lead large-scale transformation projects, including the migration of SQL Server data pipelines to Databricks, transformation of legacy reporting, and modernization of legacy data processing to scalable cloud solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in finance, wealth, investment, or accounting domains.
• Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum.
• Proficiency in using ADO and Jira for project management.
• Experience working closely with software and data engineers.
• Familiarity with cloud-based environments and data platforms.
• Experience in projects involving API development, data products, data analysis, and data transformations.
• Innovative thinker with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to gather and document clear requirements that both business and technology teams can interpret.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale transformation projects, including the migration of SQL Server data pipelines to Databricks and the transformation of legacy systems to scalable cloud solutions.

• Experience with Databricks for data analytics and processing.
• Background in working within an innovative and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to propose multiple solution options and drive decision-making
