Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets.  Our dedicated colleagues serve millions of customers worldwide across the entire spectrum of private wealth, ranging from personal banking for individuals and families, through to business owners, investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.  We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance, wealth management and private banking, that best suit our customers’ needs.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

In this role, you will:

  • Play an important role in strengthening and growing HSBC UAE’s Liabilities:
  • Term Deposits and Savings Accounts pricing management.
  • Preparation, launch and monitoring of special campaigns for customers.
  • Internal and external communication management related to Liabilities products and offers: Public Web Site update, customer communication through digital channels, staff updates.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to modify and improve internal and customer involving processes to book and manage Liabilities products.
  • Take a responsibility of internal and external reporting related to Liabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal partners (Operations, Distribution, Legal and Compliance, Customer Value propositions) in the frame of various business- and process- initiatives.
  • Take a responsibility of Liabilities balance growth and revenue.
  • Work closely with Risk and Operations team to ensure a robust risk & control environment for Liabilities business
  • Work closely with Distribution / customer facing teams to ensure maximum awareness of HSBC’s retail Liabilities and with Customer Experience team to identify root causes of customer concerns and / or complaints related to Liabilities.
  • Implement change through positive and proactive engagement with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

 

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Graduation degree is REQUIRED– to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
  • Must have strong experience of working within Wealth and Premier Banking (WPB).
  • Capacity to engage with various stakeholders and to coordinate complex projects
  • Proven ability to communicate in English (both oral & written)
  • Ability to work independently and drive delivery of assigned projects
  • Well versed with MS Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills
  • An understanding of the retail financial services market in the UAE & MENAT and its developments. 
  • Ability to handle multi-dimensional tasks
  • Ability to execute analytical and data driven decisions
  • Evidence of managing a complex and varied set of stakeholders
  • A track record of personal success in previous roles
  • Can-do attitude with role model behaviors
