Here’s what you will do as our Production Supervisor:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will ensure smooth production operations, by overseeing and managing the daily operations of the production floor. The Production Supervisor will focus on maximizing productivity, minimizing downtime while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities as a Production Supervisor:
  • Supervise, guide, support and motivate production team members to achieve production goals. Assign daily tasks and ensure production schedule adherence.
  • Coordinate production workflows, monitor daily production activities, ensure equipment and materials are available and adjust schedules to meet operational demands.
  • Ensure products are produced on time, in full, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Act as a KPI driver on the floor, tracking and reporting on production efficiency, yield, downtime, and order fulfillment rates.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of food safety and quality programs.
  • Ensure compliance with allergen management protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Identify training needs, conduct training, and build backup capacity for critical roles.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Enforce workplace safety standards and compliance with health and safety regulations. Promote a safe working environment and actively address safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with management to align production goals with company policies and goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Participation in special projects as assigned for the overall benefit of the company.

Here’s what you’ll need to be a successful Production Supervisor:
  • College Diploma in manufacturing, Applied Science, Food Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience as a Production Supervisor (or similar role), in Food and Beverage manufacturing or a pharmaceutical environment preferred.
  • Proven supervisory and team management abilities with a hands-on style and the ability to influence.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, inventory management and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in using MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift and move products & materials as required for the role.
  • Relationship builder with excellent communication.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing conditions with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work occasional alternate shifts, evenings and weekends.
