Material Engineer Student

Description -

Indigo is seeking a highly motivated student to join our Materials Characterization Labs!  
In this exciting role, you will play a key part in supporting our various departments, including R&D, production, and customer escalations, by providing valuable analytical insights through cutting-edge microscopy and mechanical testing techniques. 
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct a variety of analytical tests using state-of-the-art analytical techniques. 
  • Prepare samples for analysis. 
  • Analyze and interpret test results to generate comprehensive reports. 
  • Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records. 
  • Assist senior staff with ongoing research projects. 
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. 
     

Qualifications: 

  • Third-year bachelor's degree in Material or Chemical Engineering. M.S. is an advantage.
  • Strong foundation in scientific principles and methodologies. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to laboratory work. 
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures quickly. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficient in basic computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite).
