Description -

Role Overview
As an AMD Specialist, you will serve as HP’s subject‑matter expert on all AMD technologies, solutions, and product capabilities. In this role, you will collaborate closely with both internal teams and external partners to drive growth across the AMD portfolio, enhance customer engagement, and accelerate market opportunities.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Growth & Strategy: Work cross‑functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams to expand HP’s AMD business, identify new opportunities, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, AMD representatives, channel partners, and customers to align on objectives and maximize impact.
  • Technical Expertise: Act as the go‑to authority for all things AMD—product architecture, performance benefits, competitive positioning, and configuration best practices.
  • Product Configuration & Enablement: Support sales teams by configuring AMD‑based solutions tailored to customer needs and providing technical guidance throughout the sales cycle.
  • Partner & Customer Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations, demos, and training sessions that clearly communicate HP’s AMD value proposition.
  • Pipeline Development: Drive demand-generation activities, support campaign execution, and help build a strong, qualified pipeline for AMD‑focused offerings.
  • Market Awareness: Stay up to date on AMD technologies, industry trends, and competitor movements to inform strategy and maintain HP’s competitive edge.
     
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in enterprise selling, channel & alliance, or a related field.
