We are professional insurance brokers who act as intermediaries between clients and insurance companies, assisting our corporate clients in identifying the solution that best suits their needs in terms of risk management practices and financial controls, balancing premiums against a recommended level of cover.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute effective strategies to drive sustainable new business growth within the Employee Benefits segment.
  • Build and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline through a disciplined, proactive, and structured sales approach.
  • Establish, deepen and maintain trusted relationships with key clients and prospects.
  • Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Lead client discussions, presentations, and pitches that clearly position Howden’s differentiated value proposition.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling, customized Employee Benefits proposals and solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Represent Howden at industry conferences, seminars and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate quality leads.
  • Track, analyse, and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and market insights.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory developments, and the competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, insurers, and clients to design and deliver optimal solutions for new clients.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline (Business, Finance, Marketing, etc.) or equivalent insurance qualifications preferred.
  • 5–10 years of experience in a B2B environment, ideally with a strong network of HR and corporate contacts.
  • Proven track record in driving successful new business development within the Hong Kong market.
  • A strong communicator and negotiator with exceptional presentation and influencing skills.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders confidently.
  • Knowledgeable about insurance regulations, compliance standards and governance frameworks.
  • Fluency in Cantonese and English required; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
