QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Associate’s degree or higher (a photocopy of the transcript showing degree conferred must accompany the application).
Must be registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in all areas covered in the General Learning Concentration of diagnostic medical sonography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (a photocopy of a current ARDMS card must accompany the application).
Specific areas are listed in the Standards and Guidelines for the Accreditation of Educational Programs in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
EXPERIENCE
Three or more (3+) years of current experience in the field of diagnostic medical sonography required. Preference given to individuals who have teaching experience.
