Summary/Objective
In support of and under the direction of quality engineers or supervisors, analyzes and solves quality problems, prepares inspection plans and instructions, selects sampling plan applications, prepares procedures, trains inspectors, performs process and product audits, analyzes quality costs and other quality data, applies fundamental statistical methods for process control, and can function in all Inspection areas (Receiving, In-Process, and Final). As assigned, is capable of calibrating tools and equipment, operating CMM, and performing various quality lab tests as directed by the Quality Engineer.


Key Performance Indicators
· Certify parts and finish goods in a timely manner during their shift, 1 by 1 EOL Inspections vs Production Rate

· Proficiency in quarantine parts certification and manage data during the day (24hrs)

· MRB's Support to achieve the accomplishment of the process according to procedures established.


Essential Functions
· Parts/Finish Goods Audit

· STD_Q Parts Certification

· Sampling Plan Application

· Drawings Reading

· Computer skills for data collection, record keeping and reports

· Basic Measurement Equipment

· Support Non-Conforming Material Review (Sorting-Segregation and Contain)

· Basic ERP System Use


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
· Attention to detail

· Computer skills for data collection, record keeping, and reports required.

· Good Interpersonal communication skills required.

· Effective written and verbal communication skills required.

· Knowledge of Lancer Quality Systems


Education & Experience
· H.S. diploma or G.E.D. equivalency required.

· Previous experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.

· Able to read drawings and use precision measuring equipment.

· Computer literate - knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Access.

Minimum 1 years’ experience in a quality environment required


Work Environment
This job operates in a combination of lab and professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
