Job Responsibilities
1. Able to complete basic audits, HACCP monitoring and verification, SSOP preoperative and operative sanitation monitoring, weight control checks and online quality audits
2. Must be willing to work towards becoming knowledgeable in product specifications, GMP policies, SSOP procedures and HACCP programs
3. Completion of HACCP pre shipment reviews for the assigned shift
4. Able to lift 50 pounds
5. Working extended periods of time in a cool environment
6. Label supply verifications & final label verification reviews for the assigned shift
7. Maintenance of all required files and keeping legible and accurate records
8. Speak, Read, and Write in English, able to communicate with management
9. Knowledge of QA Tech responsibilities
10. Carry out duties as assigned by the QA Manager or QA Supervisor
11. Work actions and attendance to be weighed factors in this process
12. Work independently and with others
13. Good attendance- (attendance record will be reviewed)
Minimum Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills
High degree of written & oral communication skills
Excellent math skills
Plant processing knowledge
No performance work actions in the last 6 months
No attendance work actions in the last 12 months - Three days or less in the last 12 months
Preferred Qualifications
Previous QA experience
Knowledge in product labeling requirements
Statistical Process Control knowledge & experience
Fully trained in HACCP principles
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry & report development)
