Work week- Mon - Fri and weekends as needed 5:30am - 2pm
Hourly pay rate: Hire $22.35, 6 months $22.92, 1 year $23.87
Job Responsibilities
1. Assist in the training of new employees, maintain training records & documentation necessary
2. Lead person is responsible to learn all the graded positions in the department
3. Work with new employees on specific skills for the graded positions within the department
4. Provide new employees with exemplary work behavior including attendance, safety & personal hygiene
5. Administer directions for the proper care & use of personal protective equipment
6. Provide instructions to all trainees on HACCP, SSOP and department rules
7. Communicate to the supervisor as to the progress of the employees
8. Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities as required by the supervisor
Minimum Qualifications
Good verbal and written communication
Basic math skills
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to do or learn all jobs in the department
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Knowledge of department products
Material Handling license required, or the ability to obtain one
Ability to speak, read and write English
Experience or ability to learn shop floor and data entry positions
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Training experience, First Aid/CPR certified
Actively involved in a department safety and/or quality committee
Excellent problem-solving skills and public speaking ability
Working knowledge of all scale Operator and line jobs
Prior RTE experience
Trained in RTE Food Safety Training
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
