The MSc Programs Office is looking for a high caliber candidate to support one of the MSc programs at the HKUST Business School. Reporting to both the Academic Director and MSc Program Director, the appointee will be responsible for all aspects of managing the designated program, including but not limited to the following major areas:

Academic Management: manage course planning and class scheduling; organize enrichment activities and consultancy projects; follow-through with teaching faculty on the course management cycle to ensure smooth teaching experience.

Student/Alumni Management: manage student dynamics and discipline of a diverse group of students; organize enrichment events to enhance student engagement; drive student development opportunities and ensure good student learning experience; facilitate incoming and outgoing students for international exchange and foster closer ties with the alumni community.

Student Recruitment: manage the whole chain of student selection, interview and admissions process; ensure recruitment of high caliber students with international diversity.

Academic Partner/Corporate Partner Relations: manage relations with academic and corporate partners for various collaborations and accreditations and foster sustainable ties with corporate partners through various project opportunities and outreach activities.

Program Operations: manage a small team to provide day-to-day program operation and administration; ensure a smooth running of the program, and manage ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Applicants should have a bachelor's degree, preferably in business disciplines with at least 7 years of relevant post-qualification experience in program administration and/or in the education sector. 
• The ideal candidate should have a growth mindset, be self-motivated, able to work independently, be attentive to details, and able to manage multi-tasks and meet deadlines. 
• The ideal candidate should also be a good team player and be people-oriented, possess good interpersonal and communication skills, and good presentation and co-ordination skills.
• The appointee should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Supervisory experience of a small team with high efficiency would be an advantage. 
• Working outside normal office hours and during weekends may be required. 

(Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
