The Dean’s Office at the School of Business and Management is seeking a dynamic individual to join our administrative team. The appointee will provide secretarial support for School meetings and committees, collect and compile data, prepare reports and summaries, create and maintain databases of school-level information, coordinate the School’s activities and ad hoc projects, liaise with internal and external parties, and perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in language studies, communication, or business disciplines.
  • At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification work experience for Assistant Manager, and at least 7 years for Manager. 
  • Experience in committee work or a university setting is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, time management, and IT skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure, handle multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and produce high-quality outputs.
  • Proactiveness and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Willingness to work outside normal office hours when required.

Duration: 2 years, renewable.

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided where applicable.  A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of the contract.
