The mission of the Career Center is to engage, empower, and support students in exploring and pursuing their career goals. We aim to help students develop career plans, improve job search skills, and make informed career decisions.

The Career Center offers various services to students and employers. These include recruitment events, job fairs, internship and co-op programs, career exploration programs, study tours, career advising, and survey reports. The appointee is expected to perform the following duties.

Job Descriptions:

  • Organize recruitment events and develop corporate relationships;
  • Manage various internship programs, co-op, career exploration programs and study tours;
  • Liaise with employers, students and internal departments to facilitate project execution;
  • Assist in conducting university-wide employment surveys and analyzing the data;
  • Provide one-on-one career advising sessions to students; and
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience;
  • Strong interest and ability to engage with university students and connect with professionals/employers across industries;
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills;
  • Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and a proactive attitude;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under high pressure;
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
  • Experience in managing office publicity and promotional activities is an advantage;
  • Willing to work outside normal office hours occasionally; and
  • Immediate availability preferred.

(Duration: 2 years, renewable subject to satisfactory performance)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
