We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Education and Languages:



Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will mainly assist the Principal Investigator in a research project “Developing mathematics teachers’ AI-TPACK through learning circles”. The appointee(s) will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • Assisting in literature search and review;

  • Performing data analysis and numerical simulation;

  • Assisting in report writing and presentation of the results; and

  • Carrying out other research activities as instructed by the Investigators.

 

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience, and competence:

  • At least 5 subjects at Level 2 or above in HKDSE (or equivalent), including Chinese Language, English Language, and Mathematics; preferably current undergraduate students majoring in Education, Mathematics Education, Science, Engineering or related subjects;

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese);

  • Preferably with knowledge in AI in education;

  • Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, attention to details, and a positive attitude;

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese; and

  • Able to meet deadlines and work independently.


Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
