We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences:
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will assist in a research project Mental Health and Music Education in Hong Kong. (Project code R6946). The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
· Conducting research for developing and publishing two academic articles;
· Conducting research and review of related literature;
· Scheduling and coordinating interview sessions;
· Collecting feedback and editing transcripts of the interviews;
· Liaising with internal and external parties.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
· Have a Bachelor degree or above in preferably in the field of Cultural Industry Management, Education, Cultural Studies, Journalism and Communication, Social Sciences, or a related discipline;
· An excellent command of Chinese and English;
· competent at computer skills and software (e.g. MS Office using Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
· Candidates with network and knowledge in the music field will be considered first.
Terms and Conditions for Appointment
Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
Duration of Appointment
The appointee is expected to work not more than 13 hours per week. The appointee will work for 8 months.
