We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences:



Major Duties and Responsibilities

 

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in the research project “The Physical and the Political: Exploring the Perception and Concept of the Body in Wang Fuzhi’s Literary Works” (Project Code: R6877).  

The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: 

 

  • Assisting in project data collection and analysis;
  • Conducting literature review and research on relevant topics; and
  • Performing other tasks related to the research project.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned to support the operation of the research project.

 

 

Requirements

 

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

 

  • A recognized Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, or related discipline;
  • Good command of traditional Chinese;
  • Competent at computer skills and software (e.g. MS Office using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Databases); and
  • Self-motivated and meticulous, and be able to meet deadlines and work independently.

 

 

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

 

Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part-time fixed term contract and work not more than 16.5 hours per week between February 2026 and October 2026. Payment will be made on hourly basis. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
