Job Title: Team Member (Customer Service Representative)  

Pay: $15.00/hr; ask about our shift differentials!

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time; This position offers day, evening, and overnight shifts. 

 

Overview:  

express mart is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join our team. As a cornerstone of our gas station, you will be the face of our business, providing exceptional service to our valued customers. Your role will include merchandising, running the register, housekeeping and loss prevention, ensuring compliance with all company policies and store standards. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy interacting with people, we want to hear from you! 

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Greet customers as they enter the gas station and assist as needed. 

  • Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. 

  • Maintain an organized store environment, including restocking shelves, display maintenance, store housekeeping, and floor moves. 

  • Maintain a clean store by cleaning countertops, fuel pumps, bathrooms, and disposing of trash. 

  • Uphold all food service guidelines when serving food. 

  • Ongoing promotion awareness and product knowledge. 

  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and customer service standards. 

  • Practice safety with attention to spills, proper lifting techniques, and immediately reporting incidents to management. 

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment. 

 

Qualifications


Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a similar role is preferred. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 

  • Basic math skills and proficiency in operating cash registers. 

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. 

  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures is a plus. 

  • Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
