Home Instead Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Wem is recruiting caring, dependable people to support older adults in their own homes on Sunday afternoons and evenings. With minimum 1-hour visits, you’ll have time to deliver proper, person-centred care and build real relationships — not rushed calls.

Job Description
What You’ll Do
Provide practical support and companionship, including:
Companionship and emotional reassurance
Personal care and daily routines
Medication prompts/support (where required)
Mobility support and safe assistance
Meal preparation and light household tasks
You’ll bring reassurance and continuity at an important part of the day for clients.
Qualifications
No Experience Needed — Full Training Provided
We welcome people new to care as well as experienced carers. You will receive:
Structured induction and shadowing
Paid mandatory training
Ongoing coaching and supervision
Option to undertake accredited Dementia Care training
Option to undertake accredited End of Life Care training
Financial support towards Health & Social Care qualifications
Opportunities to increase hours and progress

Pay & Benefits
£12.60 – £13.60 per hour (higher rates with completed NVQ levels)
