Job Description
Duties of a Live in Care Professional
- Provide 24/7 live-in care support 1 week in 4
- Personal Care – washing, dressing, personal care
- Companionship
- Activities – doing fun things together, hobbies and staying active
- Cooking healthy and nutritious food – also grocery shopping
- Medication – collecting prescriptions, administration of medication
- Home help such as cleaning – ensuring their home is tidy and spotless
- Accompany to social events and appointments, seeing family, friends etc
Qualifications
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to high-quality care
- Good communication skills and ability to build trust with clients and families
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to follow instructions, care plans, and safeguarding procedures
Additional Information
- Exceptional pay for each period of cover
- Full training given
- Full induction for the role and 24-hour support throughout the placement
- Private room during placement
- Food Allowance for the week
- Mileage Payments in line with carrying out your responsibilities
- Daily pay rates of £143 which is £1001 per week
- Earn up to £250 for referring a friend
- Weekly check ins with your assistant care manager
