Department:
Operations

About Us:
The CAM Collective (“TCC”) is a national network of best-in-class, independently operated community management companies. We help local firms grow, modernize, and thrive — without losing the culture, people, and community focus that make them unique.

We’re a high-growth, small-but-mighty team that values proactiveness, collaboration, and exceptional quality in everything we do.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a sharp, hands-on M&A Integration Analyst to help bring newly acquired companies smoothly into the fold. You’ll play a key role in making sure transitions are seamless - from setting up banking and re-hiring employees under the new entities to documenting key processes. You’ll work closely with leadership teams, both internally and within the acquired companies, to make sure everything runs like clockwork.

If you’re someone who loves managing projects, solving complex problems, and building strong relationships along the way, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Be Doing:

Partnering with Leadership

  • Build strong relationships with leaders at newly acquired companies
  • Learn their operations, align on goals, and co-create a game plan for integration
  • Work across internal TCC teams to align on priorities and timelines

Banking & Financial Transitions

  • Lead the switch to our corporate banking and expense management systems, in partnership with the Financial Operations team
  • Coordinate with financial institutions and acquired teams to make the transition smooth and disruption-free

Entity Setup

  • Oversee the legal and operational setup of new entities
  • Partner with legal, tax, and finance teams to ensure proper registration, licensing, and system setup
  • Create clear checklists and timelines to keep things on track

Process Optimization & Strategic Planning

  • Meet with personnel to understand each company’s existing processes, document current-state and summarize process improvement opportunities for senior leadership
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop near- and long-term strategic goals for companies, informed by your experience meeting with the team and process reviews

Managing Projects Like a Pro

  • Juggle multiple integration projects and keep them all on schedule
  • Track progress, flag risks early, and keep everyone in the loop with updates and reports
  • Create clear, easy-to-understand dashboards and documentation
  • Continuously evaluate the M&A integration process and identify opportunities for efficiency gains

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or similar (MBA a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience in management consulting, project management, or related roles
  • A natural project manager - organized, deadline-driven, and cool under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and a knack for building trust quickly
  • Analytical thinker with experience documenting and improving processes
  • Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment

Bonus Points

  • Experience in M&A, corporate development, or integration at a growing company
  • Familiarity with AI tools and tech implementations
  • Located in or willing to relocate to Chicago

Perks & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses
  • Full health benefits
  • Plenty of opportunities for professional growth and development

                    What you'll do

                    • The Chief of Staff will manage the integration of newly acquired companies, ensuring smooth transitions in banking, employee re-hiring, and process documentation. They will collaborate with leadership teams to align on goals and optimize operations.
