Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Certified Nurse Assistant training program.
  • Valid CNA certification/license as required by the state of Texas.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques.
  • Ability to pass background checks and health screenings including immunizations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as a CNA in a hospital, nursing home, or long-term care facility.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Additional training in specialized care areas such as geriatrics or rehabilitation.
  • Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

  • Assist with basic medical procedures under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with healthcare regulations.
