About this role

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to deliver day‑to‑day technical assistance for end users across our development offices and senior living communities. This role will focus on resolving front-line support issues, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems, provisioning laptops, phones, and applications, and managing Tier 1 and some Tier 2 service tickets. You will collaborate closely with a small, hands‑on IT team and gain exposure to a broad range of enterprise systems, with opportunities to grow into more advanced infrastructure and systems support.

RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:

  • Provide first‑ and second‑level technical support to employees, ensuring timely and effective resolution of IT issues.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, peripheral, and mobile device problems.
  • Provision and configure laptops, thin clients, mobile devices, and VOIP phones.
  • Monitor and manage IT Help Desk tickets, ensuring prompt follow‑up and clear communication with users.
  • Assist with software installations, updates, and patches (including Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other supported applications).
  • Train employees on computer equipment, software, and basic troubleshooting as needed.
  • Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in IT systems, and maintain accurate equipment inventory.
  • Support IT staff with escalations, preventative maintenance, and departmental projects, including server and network equipment setup.
  • Assist with cabling, racking, and device configuration as required.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal departments and external vendors.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years of IT support or help desk experience preferred (experience in a healthcare or senior care environment is a plus).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and mobile devices.
