Overview

This is a target-driven, client-facing role responsible for the acquisition and retention of customers for Personal Loan products within the Personal Financial Services (PFS) branch network. The Executive will actively engage in various sales activities to generate leads, propose credit applications diligently, and deliver excellent customer service while strictly adhering to all regulatory and internal compliance standards.

Job Responsibilities

1. Sales and Business Development

  • Solicit leads via referrals, cold calls, marketing visits, telemarketing, launches, road shows, and any other sales activities to consistently achieve sales targets.

  • To actively cross-sell other Banking and Financial products to customers.

  • Assess, evaluate, and propose credit applications diligently and accurately.

  • Build rapport and strong relationships with chosen customers to establish loyalty, encourage repeated sales, and increase product holding.

2. Service and Compliance

  • Provide excellent customer service and uphold professionalism to reflect the Bank’s image at all times.

  • Comply strictly with all statutory requirements and sales compliance regulations in relation to the Financial Services Act (FSA), Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA), and all relevant internal policies and procedures.

  • Participate in strong teamwork and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues at all times.

3. Continuous Improvement

  • Seek continuous improvement in the following areas to enhance job skills and competencies:

    • Product knowledge

    • Selling skills

    • Market intelligence

    • Competitor's check

Experience/Requirements

  • Citizenship: Must be a Malaysian citizen.

  • Experience & Education:

    • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

    • Candidates without a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) qualification but who possess at least two (2) years of relevant sales experience are welcome to apply.

  • Skills:

    • Highly motivated and target-driven individual.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building customer rapport.

    • An understanding of the sales compliance and regulatory environment is beneficial.
