The opportunity
Join our MACH organization as a Technology Domain Architect and lead the evolution of technology for the Engineering Tools and influence Control & Protection as well as Station Layer user experience. You will define requirements, architecture, drive innovation, and own technology roadmaps and evaluations in the Technology Domain.
This role offers a unique chance to influence the next‑generation MACH Platform and collaborate with product management, solution and system architects, and design teams.
How you'll make an impact
Technology Strategy & Roadmapping
Identify, explore, and implement technology/product development and strategy to secure future competitiveness.
Architecture Ownership
Own requirements and architecture regarding Engineering Tools and collaborate with related domains such as the Station Layer.
Engineering Tools Leadership
Provide architectural direction and define technology roadmaps for MACH Engineering Tools and optimize application engineering.
Scouting and Evaluation
Scout emerging technologies, products and tools - drive Technology Evaluation projects and provide expertise in Technology Development as well as Product Development.
Your background
- University degree in engineering, computer science or related field
- Expertise in control systems and engineering tools.
- Familiarity with HMIs, control application engineering, standards such as IEC 61850, OPC UA
- Experience with System Engineering methods including Requirements Engineering and Architecture development.
- Previous experience with SysML or similar modelling languages is beneficial.
- Ability to establish operational plans, communicate with leadership, and influence strategic decisions.
- Written and spoken English.
