The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy, a global leader in sustainable energy solutions, as a Associate Project Manager within our Transformer Business Unit. In this dynamic role, you’ll work with the project management team to coordinate strategic projects for our key customers, ensuring seamless execution across multiple North American factories. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage complex timelines, and deliver exceptional results that power the future of energy. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • collaborate with the project teams with clear goals, tasks, and milestones.

  • coordinate scope, budget, schedule, and quality to meet customer requirements.

  • working with the leading Project Manager, serve as the primary contact for customers and resolve escalations.

  • Coordinate resources across factories and service teams for successful delivery.

  • Oversee project documentation, risk management, and compliance.

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration (or equivalent).

  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience.

  • CAPM certification preferred; ability to obtain Hitachi Energy APM certification within 2 years.

  • Proven ability to lead remote teams and manage vendors/subcontractors.

  • Experience with SAP, MS Project, and other PM tools.

  • Knowledge of transformer manufacturing and North American energy sector is a plus.
