<p>Preferred Partner Pricing Manager MX<br>Position Overview<br>The Preferred Partner Pricing Manager is responsible for developing and executing global pricing strategies for third-party products and services. This role ensures Hitachi Vantara remains competitive and achieves financial objectives across all product lines by setting list prices, managing discount frameworks, and providing pricing guidance. The manager collaborates closely with Product Management, Procurement, and the Deals Desk to support new product launches and ongoing pricing operations.<br>This role is central to maintaining Hitachi Vantara’s competitive edge in the marketplace. The Preferred Partner Pricing Manager will work cross-functionally to ensure pricing strategies align with business goals and market trends, supporting both operational excellence and strategic growth.<br>What you will be doing<br>• Global Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement global list prices and default discount levels for third-party products and services. Update and maintain pricing in relevant systems (Oracle, Salesforce).<br>• Communication: Create and distribute Info Flash communications regarding price changes, including updates for third-party products and associated services.<br>• Competitive Analysis: Support Product Management and Procurement with competitive pricing analysis to facilitate supplier negotiations and inform pricing decisions.<br>• Monetization Models: Advise on pricing strategies for various monetization models, including Capex, XaaS (Anything as a Service), and Utility.<br>• New Product Releases: Manage all pricing-related operational activities for new product launches, including market data collection and analysis.<br>• Special Pricing Requests: Assist Deals Desk pricing strategists with special pricing requests, cost relief calculator tools, and deal escalation reviews.<br>• Vendor Relations: Serve as the primary contact for supplier requests related to assigned third-party products. Maintain and distribute Vendor Price Books for relevant products and services.<br>________________________________________<br>Qualifications<br>• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.<br>• Experience with CPQ is highly desirable.<br>• Proven expertise in pricing products under various monetization models (Capex, XaaS, Utility).<br>• Knowledge of Hitachi Vantara storage products and third-party SAN/NAS and Data Protection solutions is preferred.<br>• Strong financial acumen and deal structuring experience.<br>• Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Proficiency with Oracle, Salesforce, and Power BI reporting and quote management tools is a significant advantage.<br>• Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to clearly communicate analytical insights and their implications.<br>• Minimal travel required (typically less than 10%).<br>• Fluency in English is required.</p>
