You'll independently manage month-end processes, accounts receivable, and accounts payable while serving as a key communication bridge with our diverse client base. This role requires bilingual capabilities to effectively communicate with Mexican clients in Spanish and U.S. clients in English. • Independently manage month-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions with high attention to detail and accountability
• Communicate effectively with Mexican clients in Spanish and U.S. clients in English to maintain strong business relationships
• Collaborate with junior accountant to optimize workflow distribution and provide backup coverage during planned absences
• Cross-train across various finance functions to enhance team flexibility and operational continuity
- Spanish fluency required to support bilingual communication with clients in Mexico and the U.S.
- Proven ability to independently manage month-end close processes with minimal supervision.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting principles.
- Demonstrated experience managing financial reconciliations, including bank, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Ability to proactively identify, document, and communicate financial discrepancies to relevant stakeholders.
- Proficiency with desktop-based ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics GP Desktop.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions, and reconciliation workflows.
- Availability to work during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
- Dual-monitor workspace preferred, or willingness to set one up.
- Associate Degree in Accounting or a related field required.
- Preference for long-term, stable contract roles rather than short-term freelance engagements.
