About the Role
As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you’re at the heart of the Guest experience. You’ll help create positive, relaxed, and enjoyable moments for Guests while working alongside a team that values energy, collaboration, and service excellence. From restaurant service to special events and off‑site catering, including iconic experiences connected to The Ghan, you’ll help deliver seamless and memorable service every time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver friendly, personable, and efficient service across all Food & Beverage operations
- Take orders and serve food and beverages accurately and on time
- Prepare and serve barista‑made coffee and cocktails where required
- Provide service in restaurants, bars, banquets, in‑room dining, and outside catering events
- Support outside catering operations, including services delivered in partnership with The Ghan
- Learn and confidently share menu items, specials, and promotions with Guests
- Keep service areas clean, organised, and guest‑ready at all times
- Process Guest payments accurately and confidently
- Respond to Guest requests and questions with warmth, professionalism, and care
- Work closely with your teammates to ensure smooth, enjoyable service across all locations
What We’re Looking For
- A warm, positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Previous Food & Beverage or customer service experience (hotel experience is great, but not essential)
- Strong communication skills and a team‑first approach
- Flexibility to work across different venues, locations, and a variety of shifts
- Barista or cocktail experience is a bonus
- RSA (or willingness to obtain it)
