Reporting to the Head of Housekeeping, the main job duties will include, but are not limited to:
To support the daily operation of the Housekeeping Department
To play a key role in the induction & training of new and existing team members
Mentoring new and existing team members around company culture creating an atmosphere of continual improvement
To lead from the front being a team player, both within your department and across the resort as a whole
To inform team members of any relevant news, including but not limited to scores and survey feedback
Ensure efficient use of products and materials by all TM’s, including PPE and follow sustainability guidelines
To follow the company brand standards
In the absence of the HHK:
Assign accommodations to each team member
Co-ordinate times and tasks
Qualifications, skills and experience required to fulfil the role include:
Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role is advantageous
The ability to multi task and work under pressure
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Must be computer literate
Motivational skills would be advantageous
The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
Have a ‘can do’ and positive approach
The role demands 40 hours of work per week, including weekends and Bank Holidays, on a rotating shift basis.

What you'll do
- The Deputy Head of Housekeeping will support the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department and play a key role in training and mentoring team members. They will also ensure adherence to company standards and manage accommodations in the absence of the Head of Housekeeping.
