Safety Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Support and advise the Field Service team on health, safety, and accident prevention.
- Manage the Occupational Safety Management System per ISO 45001, conduct internal audits.
- Perform site inspections, analyse accidents, deliver safety training. Develop and review risk assessments.
- Manage EPLAS safety software, produce reports, monitor KPIs.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams.
- Act as process owner for the SGA (MAPS) process.
Requirements:
- Technical qualification or equivalent; safety training (or willing to undertake).
- ISO 45001/19011 auditor certification (or willing to obtain).
- Experience in safety management, ideally in chemical or plastics industries.
- Good knowledge of German safety and fire regulations.
- Autonomous, organized, strong communication skills.
- Fluent in German and English; proficient in MS Office.
- Willing to travel up to 10%, mainly within Germany.
