Coperion is currently seeking a Painter/Finisher to support our location in Whitewater, WI. We have a 5S environment, a very clean production floor and great people to work with!
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 6a to 3p and Friday 6a-12p
Preps, prepares, and paints manufactured parts on the paint line to ensure a high-quality appearance for machines produced by Coperion. This role involves hands-on painting operations, preparation, and quality control to meet production and customer standards.
Open bay painter/operator, preparing parts by washing and cleaning in the wash booth.
Prime parts and perform painting operations in the paint booth according to work instructions.
Load and unload parts for paint line operation efficiently.
Mix and prepare paints to achieve the specified colors based on customer requirements.
Maintain consistent quality in painting and finishing work.
Accurately report labor and production data in a timely manner.
Support and adhere to company policies, including ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
Uphold department standards in housekeeping, attendance, and productivity.
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in high-stress or emergency situations, as well as in response to priority changes or new assignments.
3 to 5 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 to 7 years of experience in painting manufactured parts on a paint line within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of paint preparation, mixing, and application techniques.
Experience working with spray machines, brushes, rollers, and coating systems.
