Description:

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds. We are seeking a talented and motivated Package Operator I. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, labeling and packaging of finished drug product in accordance with Hikma SOP's and cGMP's. The Package Operator I position will execute these tasks manually, or will be responsible for operating equipment that performs these functions. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs visual inspection of drug product in accordance with SOP’s and cGMP’s.
  • Performs manual packaging functions as required.
  • Sets up, maintains and operates various pieces of computerized and manual inspection/packaging equipment.
  • Performs line clearance of assigned production lines as required.
  • Adheres to cGMP’s and internal SOP’s as required.
  • Responsible for maintaining the quality of machine output and product integrity.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean production environment during shift.
  • Completes and maintains applicable log book and batch record paperwork as required.
  • Reports both machine and manual deviations to area supervisor or designee.
  • Performs other related production functions, such as: Inspector, Packer, Catching, etc. as determined by supervisor and/or management.

 

Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A close visual acuity (eye exam) is required.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
    • Employee may be required to lift 5 – 40 pounds.
    • Employee may be required to stand continually throughout the shift.
  • Job involves frequent bending, twisting, pushing, pulling and lifting.
  • The noise level of the job environment is moderate. Hearing protection is provided and may be required at times.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some college and/or college degree preferred.

 

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour. The compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, work location, prior experience and job-related knowledge, relevant skills and expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The Talent Acquisition team can provide more details about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
