Job Description : 

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Performs a wide variety of journeyman level operations which include construction, alterations and finishes.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs new construction, additions, renovations and structural repairs according to Federal, State and Local Government Codes. 40%
  • Repairs, replaces, installs and builds hospital areas and casework including finishes. Performs preventive
  • maintenance and inspections. 40%
  • Installs doors, frames, window units, access panels; replaces plastic laminates. 20%

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

  • Trade School Diploma in building trades/carpentry or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of hospital experience or 6 years of related experience; ability to read architectural drawings and detailed carpentry drawings
