Purpose of the Job

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Video Production Project Manager to join our dynamic team supporting a flagship client in the Technology Retail sector. Our client’s Platforms & Devices Team brings their hardware devices and software experiences to life via fully integrated, through-the-line marketing communications. They’re a dynamic & focused team, whose mission is to positively influence how people discover, explore, and understand their products.

This is a key role embedded within our Central Production Hub (CPH) - a dedicated team of skilled producers, project managers and designers. The CPH operates directly within the client's organization, focused on delivery of a high-volume of high-quality marketing assets across all channels for regional and local teams. 

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production lifecycle for all video and motion graphic content created for our client. This role requires a blend of creative understanding, strong project management skills, and the ability to navigate the complexities of a fast-paced retail tech environment. The Project Manager will serve as the primary contact for client stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong communication skills, and has a proven ability to coordinate creative and technical teams to deliver high-quality, on-time video and motion assets for various platforms.

This role operates on a blended basis between the local HH Global office, client site(s) and home as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Scoping

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables and resource requirements in collaboration with creative leads and client product/marketing teams
• Develop detailed project schedules, production timelines and work back plans for various video assets
• Create and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective production
• Secure necessary approvals and signoffs at key project milestones

Production Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for all video projects, coordinating internal creative resources and external contractors / agencies
• Proactively identify potential project risks and bottlenecks, developing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
• Manage asset organization, storage, and final delivery, ensuring all files meet client specifications and compliance requirements

Client and Stakeholder Communication

• Facilitate clear, consistent, and timely communication between the creative team and the retail tech client stakeholders
• Present project status updates, manage feedback cycles, and ensure client expectations are consistently met or exceeded
• Translate client marketing objectives and technical requirements into actionable briefs and tasks for the creative team
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors

Quality Control and Process Improvement

• Ensure all delivered video content aligns with the client's brand guidelines, messaging and quality standards
• Implement and continuously refine project management workflows and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability of video production
• Maintain documentation of production processes, equipment and vendor contracts

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

• Professional experience in video production - ideally within an agency, in-house production team, or for a major retail or technology brand
• Demonstrable portfolio showcasing a range of video content (eg brand campaigns, product launches, social / digital content, promotional videos)
• Knowledge of the video production workflow, including scriptwriting, casting, location scouting, shooting logistics, editing, motion graphics, and sound design
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Proven ability to manage complex production schedules for multiple simultaneous projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Expert-level proficiency with project management software (eg Smartsheets)
• Proficiency in analysis and reporting on output and cost efficiency
• Experience managing a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system
• Familiarity with creative software (eg Adobe Creative Suite) and Google Workspace
