Purpose of the Job

Our Senior Account Managers work alongside Account Directors, client stakeholders, suppliers and HH Global colleagues to ensure solutions are developed and delivered on time and against operational and financial business targets. You will be a leader who can focus on the vision and strategies of the account while managing the tactical components of running the daily business, balancing daily support needs with long-term strategy and successfully combine vision and reality into effective plans.

The areas of spend under influence for this Retail based FMCG client are 2D Print and Permanent / Semi-Permanent Point of Sale Materials (POSM).

You will be a confident ‘self-starter’ with excellent communication, relationship building and organizational skills. This role combines pitching and strategic planning as well as driving excellent project delivery for existing clients so strong client facing and presentation skills are essential as is a strategic brain and the ability to challenge the norm and explore to do things differently.

The role operates on a blended basis between local HH Global office, client site (in West London) and home. You'll accompany the client out in the field in London, recommending ways to elevate and hero their product above the competition

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the client and where necessary confidently challenge the brief from an informed experience, consult and offer alternative effective solutions
  • Have strong established supplier relationships, identify local, near-shore and off-shore sourcing opportunities
  • Devise and produce agreed detailed specifications based on our client’s business and your substantial experience - negotiate and agree deadline dates managing the whole project lifecycle
  • Work with suppliers building specifications, producing 3D renders and prototypes and walk-through with the client
  • Closely monitor supplier delivery schedules are being adhered to and plan for any risks - always have a plan B
  • Maintain a full understanding of the broad range of HH Global's services and work closely with the internal departments to provide the client with digital services that complement their Display solutions
  • Agree and manage budgets and P&Ls, ensure invoicing procedures are followed
  • Deliver operational excellence and effective growth strategies while managing the opportunities for the client
  • Provide regular forecasts to the Account Director - achieve and exceed growth targets
  • Work with Account Director to identify and win new business opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with Regulatory and Company policies - deliver services to meet and exceed contracted SLAs

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • Substantial previous experience in leading Permanent + Semi-Permanent POSM activations
  • Ability to confidently recommend alternative solutions and manufacture methods, to develop a Display from scratch and articulate to suppliers
  • Strong Client Service experience and has built credible customer relationships at senior level, developing and maintaining client relationships across multiple vendors and to agreed SLAs + KPIs
  • Commercial understanding and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through time management + prioritization skills
  • Project Management mindset - process driven with a focus on sales and business development
  • Experience in troubleshooting unexpected project issues and implementing preventative measures
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation), with clarity of expression and the ability to present to and influence various stakeholder groups at all levels of seniority
  • Comfortable analyzing and interpreting financial data and produces accurate reports - sound financial reporting and forecasting experience
  • A well-established relationship with UK and offshore suppliers and know when to use which
  • Strong negotiation and consensus building skills when dealing with internal customers, stakeholders and team members
  • Exceptional communication, problem solving and cross-group collaboration skills
