Hexcel is currently seeking a Part Time Production Associate for our Seguin, TX location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
Comply with and understand all safety rules and job hazards. Perform job responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner.
Prepare creels for weaving per departmental procedures.
Clean lint from creel eyes and drop wire/lease rod area once per shift.
Monitor looms by walking the assigned loom set to ensure efficient operations.
Analyze and correct minor problems with looms that affect the quality or the fabric. Inform loom technician of mechanical problems beyond the weaver’s capability to correct.
Inspect work in process to ensure quality per product specifications. Correct minor fabric defects and notify supervisor of major quality issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent, minimum.
Regularly move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently move objects up to 20 pounds, and occasionally move objects up to 50 pounds.
Eligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.
