Required Experience

  • 8–12 years of overall experience is required.
  • 4–6 years of experience in Workday reporting is required.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with Workday reporting tools and modules, including Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Compensation, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key executor within the team as a full‑stack developer.
  • Build software functionality and actively participate in the delivery team by taking on development responsibilities across the entire technology stack.
  • Contribute to technical activities such as design, development, deployment, DevOps, and product quality while working closely with the Technical Lead to analyze requirements and propose efficient solutions.
  • Work effectively and productively, either independently or as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate a strong drive for learning new technologies and possess outstanding analytical skills.
  • Provide innovative solutions, take on challenges with calculated risks, and adopt a “fail fast, learn fast” mindset.

The Role Offers

  • Prior experience as a Technical Consultant in Workday Reports, Calculated Fields, and dashboards.
  • Experience with Workday Prism Analytics is a plus.
  • Analyze support issues and priorities to ensure SLA requirements are met.
  • Experience in report migration.
  • Gather requirements, prepare understanding and requirement documents, estimate effort, and create functional design documents.
  • Conduct business requirement workshops.
  • Perform Fit‑Gap, As‑Is, and Keep‑Drop analysis, and deliver Delta presentation workshops.
  • Design, develop, and perform unit testing of customizations, interfaces, and reports in ERP finance applications.
  • Prepare technical specifications and configuration documents.
  • Track deliverables and monitor project milestones.
  • Effectively manage resources, perform contingency planning for self and team, and negotiate for additional resources when required.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and functional leads, providing suitable technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Improve processes and suggest best practices based on previous successes and lessons learned.
  • Be self‑driven, able to work independently, and drive initiatives to completion.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Manage teams and track all deliverables.

Essential Skills

  • Design, build, and maintain Workday reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer, Prism Analytics, Worksheets, Discovery Boards, and Composite Reports.
  • Manage and optimize existing reports for performance, efficiency, and usability.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to convert business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
  • Analyze HR and operational data to identify trends and anomalies.
  • Support audit and compliance reporting requirements.
  • Maintain Workday security settings related to reporting access and permissions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues.
  • Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support for Workday reporting tools.
  • Lead or support Workday Prism Analytics implementations and data integration initiatives.
  • Manage data pipelines, transformations, and governance within Workday Prism.
  • Participate in testing, deployment, and change management for reporting solutions.

  • Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Prism Analytics, and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with Workday data structures and integration points.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced and dynamic work environment.

Essential Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
