Roles & Responsibilities:

      Roles and Responsibilities:  

      • Maintain the cleanliness of the park in both outdoor areas. This role has a focused responsibility of maintaining, stocking, and cleaning restrooms around the park.  

      • Execute cleaning tasks as outlined in training and Standard Operating Procedures  

      • Complete regular and rotating weekly cleaning tasks as assigned during shift periods  

      • Diligently clean and disinfect public areas including, but not limited to, outdoor park areas and walkways, restrooms, food stands, employee dining facilities, ride areas, and lockers  

      • Provide exceptional guest service by assisting guests with their questions or issues  

      • Ensure the park pathways are litter free  

      • Return food trays to food stands and maintain clean condiment and food line areas  

      • Ensure trash receptacles are clean and free of spills visually and are emptied on a regular basis  

      • Check toilet paper, soap dispensers, in restrooms and replace supplies  

      • Sweep, mop and/or scrub interior floors  

      • Perform basic maintenance duties (e.g. unclogging the toilet or changing light bulbs)  

      • Accurately and promptly report maintenance problems to proper authorities  

      • Ensure all areas of the park including eating areas, benches, and flowerbeds are clean and free of debris  

      • Properly handle, label, and store cleaning chemicals and supplies  

      • Protect guests' belongings, deliver lost and found items immediately  

      • Proactively monitor the park for safety hazards (e.g. wet floors, tripping hazards, etc.)  

      • Maintain records on all work completed and safety inspections  

      • All other duties and special projects assigned by leadership  

      Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.  

      Education and Experience:  

      • No education requirements for this position  

      • Previous work experience is not required  

        

      Requirements:  

      • Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with Hawaii Child Labor Laws  

      • Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays  

      • Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shift  

      • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record  

      • Ability to safely and efficiently operate motorized vehicles and equipment  

      • Ability to comply with all uniform policies  

      • Must possess strong attention to detail and desire to keep park clean and presentable  

      • Ability to safely and properly use a variety of cleaning equipment, including brooms, mops, and chemicals  

      • Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with all park guidelines  

      • Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner  

      • Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently  

      Physical Requirements:  

      • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist, kneel, bend, or squat for long periods of time  

      • Ability to remain on feet for majority of the workday  

      • Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 50 pounds or more  

      • Ability to consistently use hands to grasp, control, move objects/tools  

      • Ability to see details of objects that are more than a few feet away  

      Working Conditions:  

      • Frequent exposure to all outdoor and indoor areas of the park  

      • Frequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, and other weather conditions  

      • Subject to constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, highly populated areas, and exposure to various cleaning chemicals  

      • Subject to bloodborne pathogens; Proper PPE is required in these situations.  

      • Subject to frequent interruptions and requests that may require reprioritization of activities
