ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Skilled Labor's role is to assist and support the Production Department, by:
- Work closely with the production supervisor to ensure daily operations are efficient and accurate while producing finished goods at budgeted cost and that conform to established internal specifications.
- Enforce compliance with GMPs, personal hygiene and safety standards and all FDA /USDA regulations with the processing of frozen dough products (bakery), ready to eat proteins (USDA) or any other product required.
- Respect and implement internal company policies.
- Be able to collaborate in indicated activities on different production lines.
- Maintain communication with all levels and departments of food plant (Team Leads, Production supervisors, Maintenance technicians, QA technicians, Plant Manager)
- Be able to learn new procedures inside production sections, positive attitude to collaborate with another general labor associates.
- Be able to respect and comply with all company safety policies and procedures to work in a safety environment.
- Be able to attend all training courses required by the company.
- Ability to perform production activities like mixing, operation, weight control, time and efficiency records. Be able to learn new procedures and FDA/USDA related paperwork.
- Ability to operate lines and be back up for Line Team Lead
- Ability to teach co-workers new procedures and know-how
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 1+ year production experience
- Bilingual: Spanish and English preferred.

- Constant physical demands, including reaching, carrying, seeing, bending, walking, and moving in the facility.
- Will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils.
- Will work regularly near moving equipment.
- Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperatures and machinery. Room Temperatures between 58-62 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Utilization of safety equipment such as glasses, helmets, goggles, clothing, and other materials and equipment that may be necessary.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs.
