The Customer Service role is to assist and support the Administration Department -- by ensuring that high standards of customer satisfaction are maintained by the Front-End personnel and assists the department and Front End Manager as needed. Supervising the Front-End Staff (cashiers, sackers, go-backs, and maintenance). Customer Service provides customer service and cash handling in a retail store environment. The role is expected to be a role model of the company by delivering excellent customer service while maintaining company core values.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Customer Satisfaction
  • Process Refunds and Voids.
  • Pick-up Process.
  • Answer Incoming Calls.
  • Run and Distribute Daily Reports.
  • Process Rain Checks.
  • Adhere to Item Refund Policy.
  • Maintain and Managing Customer Flow.
  • Available to Support Cashiers.
  • Understand and enforce all Procedures.
  • Responsible for Front End Opening, Crunch, Closing Efficiencies.
  • Handling Coupons.
  • Understand and use proper LP Dept Codes and Policies.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 1+ years customer service and retail experience desirable;
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS:

The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Some requirements may be modified to accommodate individuals with disabilities:

  • WALKING: Continuously, throughout shift, while moving about the store and handling merchandise.
  • STANDING: Continuously, throughout shift.
  • LIFTING: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
