What's the role?

 Your main responsibilities include : 

 

  • Identifying and engaging with software vendors in the automotive ecosystem, particularly those offering cutting-edge solutions for OEMs embracing SDV platforms. Developing long-term strategic partnerships that align with our company’s vision for mobility, connectivity, and intelligent vehicle platforms. Working with internal teams such as product management, marketing, and engineering to co-develop integrated offerings and proof-of-concept pilots that demonstrate clear business value.
  • Scouting and evaluating emerging AI technology companies utilizing geospatial and map data for training and deployment of AI models. Co-creating innovative business models that unlock new monetization paths and strategic value for both parties. Acting as a thought leader in the intersection of automotive, AI, and data-driven innovation, representing the company at key industry events, panels, and conferences to raise visibility and attract potential partners.
  • Initiating and structuring first-reference deals and strategic engagements with new partners. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to define value propositions, commercial models, and go-to-market strategies. Working with finance and legal teams to negotiate terms, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Transitioning matured opportunities to account executives and or partner managers for farming and revenue realization, while documenting lessons learned to refine the process.
  • Operating as a strategic enabler and catalyst for long-term business development, working in close collaboration with Account managers and Partner Managers who maintain the day-to-day relationships with customers. Providing market intelligence, strategic framing, and partner enablement to empower account teams to execute effectively and growing the business.
  • Collaborating and conducting joint planning sessions and strategic reviews with regional account teams

Who are you?

You are a strong candidate for this role if you possess the following skills, competencies and experience:

 

  • 7 +  years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or ecosystem development.
  • Proven track record in identifying and closing strategic deals in complex, unstructured environments.
  • Experience in automotive, mobility, AI, or geospatial technology sectors is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of SDV platforms, AI model training, and data-centric business models.
  • Ability to navigate global organizations and build trust across cultures.
  • Entrepreneurial hunter mindset with a passion for innovation and disruption.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to connect dots across industries and technologies.
  • Comfortable working with unfinished products, evolving business models, and ambiguous market signals.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and commercial domains.
  • High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity to work across regions and time zones.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin
