Junior Revenue Accountant

What's the role?

HERE's Revenue Accounting team is seeking a Junior Revenue Accountant to support billing, contract processing, and revenue recognition activities for our North America business. You’ll join a collaborative global team of 10 colleagues across Chicago, León, and Eindhoven, working together to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth financial operations.

This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who enjoys working with systems, problem-solving, and learning in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue customer invoices, validating pricing and details against contracts and supporting reports.

• Process sales contracts by reviewing accounting terms and accurately entering information into PeopleSoft, iCertis, Zuora, Salesforce, and other systems.

• Respond to customer and internal stakeholder inquiries regarding invoicing, billing discrepancies, and revenue recognition.

• Provide required documentation to customers (e.g., supplier forms, certifications, account details).

• Support month-end close tasks, including reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and audit documentation.

• Assist the Revenue Accounting team with ad hoc projects and operational improvements.

Tools & Systems You’ll Work With

PeopleSoft (ERP), iCertis (Contract Management), Salesforce, Zuora, Microsoft Excel, Tableau.

IMPORTANT:

• This position follows a hybrid working arrangement, three days on-site in our LEON - MEXICO office and two days remote (work from home).

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/training in Accounting, Finance, or similar field
• 2-3 years work experience preferred
• Strong communication/organization skills
• Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment
• Experience maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information
• Experience with PeopleSoft a plus
• Accounting license or equivalent education/training
• Strong English language communication skills (oral and written)
