Job Purpose
Our Calgary branch is looking for a Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs of generators, pumps and HVAC units with limited or no supervision in a highly skilled, safe, and professional manner. The successful candidate will mainly work on Cummins and John Deer engines. This role is Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm
What you will do...
- This position is 70% shop and 30% field.
- Follow a consistent and regular schedule to perform various types of maintenance on heavy equipment and various pieces of machinery at various job sites
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair T3 as well as T4 Generators.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair pumps, heaters, HVAC, and CRC units such as dehumidifiers and air movers.
- Disassembles engines and reassembles after a thorough examination
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot fuel systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and propane systems
- Diagnose problem areas for any significant wear or tear on the equipment
- Maintain work area in a clean and organized manner
- Produce timely and detailed service reports and repair logs
- Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
- Build positive relationships with customers
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements
- Must have Generator (power), Pump, or HVAC experience with electrical aptitude
- Journeyman Off Road Certification or Red Seal in HET is required
- Ability to work rotationally on call every 2 weeks.
- Valid driver’s license and recent driver’s abstract will be required

Pay Range: $38.00 - $41.00 per hour
