Job Profile Summary:
The individual in this roll will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in accordance with hospital standards and infection control policies.Job Description:
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary environment in assigned areas.
- Clean and disinfect operating rooms and common spaces.
- Safely operate and maintain clean equipment and supplies.
- Handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste properly.
- Follow all infection prevention, safety, and hospital policies.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet department needs.
Education and Experience Required:
1. High school graduate or G.E.D. preferred.
2. Previous related experience preferred.
3. Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician preferred
4. 1-2 year experience
