Job Summary :
Endoscopy Tech provides appropriate procedure care with assisting physician and/or Register Nurse while performing endoscopic tasks. Maintains instruments and supplies as needed.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist physician with procedural related tasks
- Monitor instrument/equipment for processing following standards or practice and guidelines. Cleans, decontaminates and sterilizes endoscopes and accessories.
- Collects and obtains tissue specimens per protocol and guidelines.
- Assists RN with patient care and transporting
- Provides assistance in the order of priority and re-prioritizes as designated.

Education/Experience:
Endoscopy Tech education or Certified Surgical Tech (CST), preferred not required.
1-2 years of experience preferred.
Licensure/Certifications Preferred:
(CST) Currently certified by The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
