Main duties include:
• Loading and securing of all goods at the depot by handballing into the vehicle.
• Ensuring all documentation is correct prior to departing from depot.
• Delivering the goods in first class condition to the agreed location.
• Ensuring the appropriate delivery documentation is signed.
• Collecting and documenting all product returns
• Maintenance of the van (including vehicle hygiene plus daily water/oil/fuel checks),
• Cage control and accountability.
The role involves manual handling, specifically pushing, pulling and lifting heavy loads.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Essential Criteria:
• Hold a full, valid, Category B licence
• Have a good geographical knowledge
• Able to deliver outstanding Customer Service
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
Desirable Criteria:
• Previous experience driving vehicles over 7.5tn.
• Multi-drop delivery/collection experience
• A good knowledge of vehicle refrigeration.

Hours and days of work:
The successful applicants will have a core contract of 39 hours per week, any 5 days out of 7, job to finish and overtime as required, which may include working a 6th day.
Shift pattern:
Start times between 4am and 5am daily and flexibility is required with regards to hours of work.

What you'll do
- The Van Driver is responsible for loading and securing goods, delivering them in excellent condition, and maintaining the vehicle. They must also ensure all delivery documentation is correct and manage product returns.
