This is a challenging but rewarding role that offers variety, stability, and the satisfaction of being home every night. Most of your driving will take place within Northern Ireland, allowing you to build strong relationships with our store teams while enjoying the consistency of local routes and no overnight stays. Every day brings new journeys and the pride of knowing your work helps keep shelves stocked and communities served.
You’ll take pride in the presentation and performance of your vehicle, carrying out daily safety checks, maintaining cleanliness, and handling goods with care to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Customer service sits at the heart of what you do, you’ll be the face of Henderson Wholesale on the road, representing our brand with professionalism, courtesy, and reliability.
Throughout it all, you’ll have the full support of our experienced Transport team at the main distribution centre, who work hard behind the scenes to make sure you have everything you need to succeed. From route planning to real-time guidance, we’ll back you every step of the way. What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Essential Criteria:
• Hold a current HGV Category C+E licence
• Possess a valid, in date Driver Qualification Card (CPC up to date)
• Possess a Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a good knowledge of the Northern Ireland road network
• Able to deliver outstanding Customer Service
Desirable Criteria:
• Relevant driving experience
• Multi-drop delivery experience
• A good knowledge of vehicle refrigeration
• A good knowledge of tail lift operation
• Understanding of Driving Regulations and Working Time Legislation

What you'll do
- The HGV Class One Driver will deliver goods to SPAR, EUROSPAR, VIVO, and VIVOXTRA stores across Northern Ireland, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The role involves maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing daily safety checks while providing excellent customer service.
