YOUR TASKS

Your Role
As a SW Project Manager – Power Electronics, you will lead and coordinate software development activities within product development projects, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer requirements. You will manage project planning, resource allocation, and communication with internal and external stakeholders, driving continuous improvement in software processes and architectures.

Key Responsibilities

 
Project Planning & Execution
Identify work packages and activities, establishing a clear work breakdown structure for the software project.
Estimate project size and costs, and create detailed time and resource plans.
Monitor and control project progress, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, and timing targets.
Initiate escalation scenarios in case of severe deviations from project plans.
Maintain regular customer contact, acting as the main point of communication for software-related topics.

Software Development Coordination
Clarify and define software requirements with customers, analyzing and planning development effort.
Define, plan, coordinate, and monitor software development tasks using established methods and systems (including time-to-market/product creation process).
Plan and manage internal and external subsuppliers, considering economic, qualitative, and scheduling aspects.
Ensure compliance with defined technical standards and coordinate software development concepts and technological alternatives.

Architecture & Risk Management
Develop system and software performance specifications; analyze requirements and implement necessary modifications.
Design and optimize system and software architectures, integrating in-house and external systems, as well as software and hardware interfaces.
Perform software risk analysis and control problem and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct internal and external reviews of system and software architecture during the development process.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Create reports and metrics to track software project KPIs.
Document and communicate project status, risks, and solutions to stakeholders and customers.
Examine and evaluate suggestions for process and architecture improvements, driving adoption of new technologies and best practices.
Ensure compliance with industrial safety and environmental protection measures related to software development.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
• More than 7 years of experience in software development or project management within automotive or power electronics domains.
• Strong knowledge of quality management, project management, and product-related software development.
• Experience in system and software architecture design, optimization, and risk management.
• Proficiency in English (good knowledge); additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
