Are you passionate about building strategic partnerships and delivering technically led, customer-centric solutions? We’re seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager – Engineering to lead high-value relationships across engineered, infrastructure and project-based customers, driving growth through solution-oriented strategies.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio spanning key engineering accounts and major project stakeholders. You’ll influence internal and external decision-makers to deliver long-term, sustainable outcomes, leading change, driving margin growth, and shaping the future of engineered construction solutions.
 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute 2–5-year strategic account plans to maximize value, margin and long-term project pipelines

  • Build and manage trusted partnerships with engineering firms, contractors, asset owners, project managers and consultants

  • Lead tender submissions, technical proposals and contract negotiations, ensuring strong commercial and risk outcomes

  • Align regional execution with national strategy through cross-functional collaboration

  • Identify commercial, technical and delivery risks and implement mitigation plans

  • Influence industry best practice through technical engagement, thought leadership and specification involvement

  • Support product, technical and digital initiatives by aligning customer and project requirements with evolving solutions

  • Champion safety, compliance and governance through our Zero Harm philosophy and Integrated Risk Management System
     

What You Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in senior B2B sales or Key Account Management within engineering, infrastructure or project-based environments

  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and commercial stakeholders

  • Ability to translate project data, specifications and insights into value-driven solutions

  • Proven success managing complex accounts, long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder projects

  • Highly skilled in negotiation, tendering and commercial decision-making

  • Deep understanding of value-based selling, solution development and technically complex offers

  • Ability to manage ambiguity and influence across engineering, procurement and executive levels

  • Energetic, personable and performance-driven with a collaborative mindset

  • Background in construction materials, engineering, industrial or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable
