Role Overview

An opportunity to shape the experience and community presence of one of Texas Hill Country’s most iconic resorts. Nestled just outside San Antonio, Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort is known for its championship golf, sweeping landscapes, and relaxed-luxury retreat vibe.

The Events & Partnerships Manager is responsible for creating meaningful on-property programming, cultivating local and regional partnerships, and promoting events and experiences that drive resort awareness, F&B revenue, catering demand, and local engagement. This role brings the resort to life—connecting guests, locals, and partners through thoughtfully curated events, activations, and collaborations.

Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, General Manager, Golf, F&B, and Operations teams, this role owns the development and execution of a year-round events and partnerships strategy that positions Tapatio Springs as a destination resort and local gathering place.

Core Responsibilities

Events, Activations & Programming

· Develop and execute a robust annual events calendar including live music, seasonal festivals, golf-adjacent programming, wellness events, culinary experiences, and holiday activations

· Own end-to-end event execution: concepting, vendor sourcing, partnerships, on-site management, promotion, and post-event evaluation

· Collaborate with Golf, F&B, and Banquets teams to ensure events drive incremental revenue and guest engagement

· Position resort outlets, lawn spaces, and common areas as dynamic event venues for guests and locals alike

Partnerships & Community Engagement

· Identify, cultivate, and manage partnerships with local brands, artisans, musicians, wineries, breweries, wellness providers, and community organizations

· Develop co-branded activations and experiences that align with the resort’s Hill Country identity

· Serve as a liaison between resort leadership and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration and execution

· Support regional tourism and CVB partnerships to increase destination visibility

Marketing Support & Promotion

· Partner with the Director of Sales & Marketing to promote events through digital channels, email marketing, social media, and third-party platforms

· Contribute event content and storytelling to social media calendars and resort marketing initiatives

· Assist with on-property signage, collateral, and promotional assets related to events and partnerships

· Ensure all event messaging aligns with brand voice and resort positioning

Catering, Groups & Special Events

· Support marketing and promotion of local catering, social events, and small group gatherings

· Assist with sourcing and executing themed events, weddings, and seasonal celebrations

· Collaborate with Sales and Events teams to enhance event visibility and drive bookings

Reporting & Operational Support

· Track attendance, engagement, and performance of events and partnerships

· Provide recaps and insights to leadership to inform future programming decisions

· Assist with vendor coordination, invoicing, and budget tracking related to events and partnerships

· Support additional resort initiatives and projects as needed

Candidate Profile

Required

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field preferred

· 2+ year experience in events, partnerships, marketing, hospitality, or related role

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and relationships simultaneously
